About Us

EuroCultAV is Your source for DVD and Blu-ray reviews of some of the coolest, wildest, and weirdest movies ever made.

Scott MacDonald

Scott MacDonald was born in the great geek summer of 1982, under the sign of the KHAAAAAAAANNNNN. He has been a fan of horror, sci-fi, metal, and punk since he knew what each was, and has been writing about them (or writing them) since he was a teenager. Scott has been the editor of EuroCultAV since 2009. When he’s not working on ECAV, he is watching movies, listening to music at deafening volumes, playing board games, tabletop RPGs, Warhammer 40K (Necrons), and video games, that weren’t considered retro when he first started playing them.

Bobby Morgan

Bobby Morgan loves movies because they have been they have been his best friend as far back as he can remember. Throughout the good times and the bad he has never been without a quality flick to lift his spirits, or a tremendously horrible one to remind him that not everyone can be a filmmaker.

He has clerked at a record store, sold shoes to uncouth suburbanites, peddled porno tapes to clergymen, walked down Hollywood Boulevard on a cool Sunday afternoon, and if you have banked with Wachovia he knows what you have spending your money on. He currently writes for EuroCultAV and Geeks of Doom (under the name Baadasssss) and is also writing short films to be produced in his hometown of Richmond, VA and hopefully will get to write a feature-length screenplay sometime soon because a cocaine habit is not cheap.

Bobby is also planning to start a religion based on Mystery Science Theater 3000 and wants to construct a chapel designed to look like the Satellite of Love. Any takers?

Tyler Miller

Tyler has been in love with the movies since he could walk and talk. He blames his obsession with the moving image on Godzilla. He decided to start writing about film after he discovered Dario Argento’s Tenebre on late-night TV under the title of Unsane. The best way to his heart is through a shot of espresso with two sugars (wait a minute…this isn’t Tinder).

Richard Glenn Schmidt

Richard is the owner/operator of DoomedMoviehon.com and is the author of Giallo Metldown: A Moviethon Diary. He also plays guitar (badly) in Tampa’s premiere realistic music band, GYROJETS. While not possessed by the twin demonic spirits of his cats Gorgon and Spasmo, he can be found smoking cigars and co-hosting a podcast known as Hello! This is the Doomed Show.
