The Gestaopo’s Last Orgy is an Italian Nazi exploitation film directed and co-written by Cesare Canevari and starring Daniela Poggi. It’s one of the sleaziest films in cinema and not for the faint of heart or those with weak stomachs.
Lise Cohen (Daniela Levy aka Daniela Poggi, Speed Cross, Last Harem), a Jewish WWII survivor revisits the ruins of an old camp with some memories of her experience still inside her mind. Conrad von Starke (Mark Loud AKA Adriano Micantoni, The Minotaur, the Wild Beast of Crete) captures her and brings her to his camp where she is raped, tortured, and beaten as he tries to break her. And yet, Starke loves her, and she loves him back, and have a baby while she is still his prisoner. What happens to the baby and other atrocities in this movie are about as gross as it gets!
The film, also known as Last Orgy of The Third Reich and Caligula Reincarnated as Hitler, is pretty much what you would expect in a 70s Nazisploitation picture with utter repulsiveness, with cannibalism, incest, urination, excessive rape, sex, nudity torture, and Jewish baby eating among the highlights, or lowlights. Just a film chock full of stomach-churning scenes that will make some uncomfortable as hell. I can’t believe there’s an audience for films like this.
The Gestapo’s Last Orgy is now presented on Blu-ray for the very first time and restored in 2K From the original negatives. All the graphically gory, sleazy, and yuckiness from this film has never looked any better, with rich details to the scenery. Colors look amazingly solid and robust. Flesh tones look accurate. Watching this movie looking this good with certainly please fans that have only seen this movie on VHS or DVD!
88 Films has restored English and Italian LPCM soundtracks for this release with newly translated English subtitles. The audio itself for both languages is superb whichever way you want to watch it. Dialogue, the music by Alberto Baldan Bembo and other action noises are clear with nothing being overly aggressive.
There are a pair of commentaries for this release. There is an audio commentary by film critic and Author Samm Deighan and another commentary by Italian Movie Specialists Troy Howarth and Nathaniel Thomson. If you love this film, you will most definitely want to listen to these commentaries which cover everything you would want to know about The Gestapo’s Last Orgy.

This movie is strictly for fans of Nazisploitation films only. Even though I am not a fan of this type of movie, or genre for that matter, The Gestapo’s Last Orgy is a GREAT release from 88 Films that is recommended for those who want to see this movie uncut with the best audio/video quality to date!
